1 st National Conference on Sustainable Construction in St Raphael

The International SD-MED Forum ( see www.sd-med.org ) whose Secretariat is based in Paris , supports the 1st National Meeting of Sustainable Construction , organised by AREOPAGE, on the initiative of the Syndicate of Directors General of Local Authorities of the PACA Region : 3 days of discussions as well as a Sustainable Construction EXPO , for conventional exchanges. The Event will be held in the "Palais des Congres" of ST RAPHAEL (83), on the  14, 15 and 16 mars 2007. The scope of this support is to transfer to the French mediterranean local authorities and to the participants in general, the conclusions and results of the SB05MED Event held in Athens in June 2005 under the title :    " Sustainable construction, action for sustainability in the Mediterranean region" ( see past events on our web site : www.sd-med.org ).

Besides, the exchange of experience and the discussions with the PACA local authorities will greatly contribute to the creation of synergies and to the preparation of the SB07MED Conference and EXPO " The Mediterranean city on the way to sustainable development: Environmental Quality and Health, urban management and real-estate sustainability"  to be held in Athens , on the 10-11-12th January 2008, on the initiative of SD-MED and under the aegis of the French Embassy in Greece and the Economic Mission of Athens, member of the UBIFRANCE Network.
